Endangered Bird of the Present

Endangered Bird of the Present

The Endangered Bird of the Present age

Birds once ruled the earth. With the passage of time and the demands of the earth environment, innumerable species of birds have gradually become extinct.

Statistics show that more birds are becoming extinct for the needs of human civilization than the number of bird species that have become extinct in the course of time. For the development of civilization, people are polluting the environment, deforestation, and poor birds are losing their homes. And indiscriminate bird hunting is still going on. Some birds have become extinct. Once upon a time, due to the hostile environment, different species of birds became extinct or evolved into other species. But there are no extinct birds left now. These birds are becoming extinct not because of the rotation of time but because of human needs. Of these endangered species, only a handful remain. Now we will talk about those birds.

Speaks Macau

This speck is a kind of macaw bird. They can pronounce words clearly. They are named after a German environmentalist; His name was Johann Baptist von Spikes. He was the first to discover this bird in 1818. That is about two hundred years ago. But by the year 2000, the number of these birds had dwindled to the point where they could no longer be seen. Spike macaws do not nest in all types of trees. He needs a special kind of tree to build a nest. The name of that tree is Saraibera. Spikes Macau does not feel comfortable in any tree other than this one. The branches and wood of this tree are very useful to human beings. For which the tree has been the victim of human ax for many years. Due to indiscriminate logging, the birds are not finding suitable environment for their nesting. Even laying eggs elsewhere is hampering reproduction due to lack of necessary environment. Due to these reasons the bird has lost its habitat and is slowly becoming extinct. There is a spiral macaw in the conservation of zoologists. Attempts are being made to propagate them there. But it is becoming difficult to keep pace with the environment. They are not feeling much relief in the protected areas instead of propagating in the open environment of the forest.

Hawaiian Crow

Crow means crow bridge everyone knows right? Hawaiian Crow means Hawaiian Crow. This particular breed of crow lives only in the Hawaiian Islands. They can not be anywhere else. Experts believe that the temperate climate of the Hawaiian Islands is the reason why these crows camp here. And so the name of the island of Hawaii has been added to their name. Since this crow does not go or live anywhere other than the Hawaiian Islands, the ancient inhabitants of Hawaii think that the Hawaiian crow is actually the family god of this island. So in many areas this Hawaiian Crow has another name, Alala. That means family god. Like other crows, the Hawaiian Crow is black in color. And up to about 20 inches in length. The skin color of the bird is black so the sight of the cunning human hunter is not so much here. However, the bird has been extinct in the world forests since early 2002. Over the years, one by one, Hawaiian crows have been dying of an unknown disease. The Hawaiian government spent a lot of money in 2005 to save the crows. But it did not help. Even the crows habitat has been created by selecting a separate protected area. But that did not help the Hawaiian Crow. As a result, there are now only about 60 different archives. Attempts are being made for widespread breeding.

Mauritius Castrel

The Mauritius Kestrel is actually a kind of eagle. However, they are much smaller than ordinary eagles. To say small but again not even small at all. They have a long tail and about one and a half feet of wings. Like the dodo, this rare bird is becoming extinct day by day. The Mauritius Kestrel is found only in the jungles of Mauritius, so its name is associated with the country. One more bird could be found in this country, they have become extinct long ago. The bird name was Dodo. Dodo has been mentioned before. Anyone would love to see Mauritius Castrel. These birds seem to want to stay in Mauritius. A few were held on another island, including Mauritius Kestrel. But they did not want to be there. On the contrary, they were seen again in Mauritius a few days later. The local government of Mauritius has announced to save the bird, but the growing population has made it difficult for the bird to survive. Which has an effect on their fertility. It is not possible to lay new eggs and hatch babies. As a result, they are not increasing in number but decreasing. If this continues, their last descendants will be extinct in the next 10 years. The beautiful eagle named Mauritius Kestrel will become extinct.

Kakapo

This bird named Kakapo is very strange to look at. Because, the bird has a mixture of owl and pheasant. The bird has feather-colored feathers all over its body, but in shape and character it is like an owl. This nocturnal bird of New Zealand is only seen there. So far the bird has not been found anywhere else. They do not change places or accommodations easily. As a result, they have lived in the same place for ages. They have been living in New Zealand for a long time. Kakapo feathers have yellow and green flowers. It is very strange to see a bird with big gray beak, small legs but big legs, small wings and a small tail. One wonders if Kakapo is the only species of pheasant in the world that cannot fly! However, Kakapo can jump up very fast, like a monkey! And while descending, they float down like parachutes. This is because they prefer a particular insect on their food list. No food other than that insect should taste in their mouths. This dish is only found in special areas of New Zealand. Since this insect is not found in any other region, Kakapo does not want to leave New Zealand just for the sake of food. The bird feels comfortable to live in the sanctuary there. However, due to the fact that it is now known as the food of other deforested animals, the food of Kakapo has started the problem of habitat of this insect. As a result, Kakapo has to rely on other foods. There is also danger. Because, in a long time habit, that food is causing Kakapo physical problems. In particular, their reproductive issues are being hindered. As a result, it is thought that this bird may soon become extinct.

Cebu Flowerpacker

Cebu Flowerpacker is a beauty bird of Cebu Island in the Philippines. This is why the name of this beautiful bird is given along with the name of Cebu Island. You have to be fascinated to see this Cebu Flower Pack of different colors. The upper part of the body, including the head, is black, and a part of the middle part of the back and chest is red. A green line has gone back to the tail. Their tails and wings are dark blue and the lower part of the body is gray or white. Flowerpacker was found in the flower garden of the Roman emperor thousands of years ago. They came in droves. It is said that the emperor was fascinated by the beauty of the birds and wanted to capture a bird and keep it in a cage. But his men went to catch the birds and disturbed the whole flock of birds. After capturing a couple of birds and keeping them in cages, they could not be kept alive. Seeing the consequences of such a beautiful bird, the emperor forbade catching and killing this bird. From then on, flower packers would come to his kingdom in droves. Since then, such beautiful flowerpackers have become almost extinct due to the violence of modern bird hunters. Experts believe that this beautiful bird may never be seen again. This name has also been inscribed there to make the list of extinct birds of the world heavier. But at the end of the last century, in 1992, the flowerpacker was rediscovered on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. The name of the island was changed to Cebu Flowerpacker after seeing the birds flocking to a place called Tabunan on Cebu Island. Fascinated by its extraordinary beauty, the cunning hunters of many countries look to the Philippines. Despite strict restrictions by the Philippine government, it was difficult to protect them from the clutches of cunning bird hunters. The birds are still there. However, the amount is much less. Because, their reproduction has been hindered for decades. The idea is that if this continues, the condition of this bird may soon be listed as extinct. As of this writing, only 57 Cebu Flowerpacker birds are still alive.

Pink Pigeon

The pink dove on Mascareni Island in the Mauritius Islands is bound to catch everyone eye at a glance. This is because their head, shoulders and lower body are covered with pink feathers. The lips are also pink. However, the pink pigeon wings and tail are reddish-brown. This beautiful bird is mistaken for a pigeon at first sight. However, looking at its behavior, it is understood that it is really a pigeon. Pink dove. In the long and wide, they look like ordinary pigeons. However, the size is slightly larger.

Ordinary people are not only fascinated by their beauty. Added to this are some clever bird hunters. A few days ago, a whole cage full of (about 500) pink pigeons in the guise of a bird watcher was caught at Honolulu Airport. They visited the island of Mauritius in the guise of a member of the World Bird Watch. Then, realizing the opportunity, he wanted to catch the pink pigeon in a cage and smuggle it to another country. But the law prevented it. However, the caged birds could not be saved. The thieves used chemicals to put the birds to sleep. The birds did not wake up. Since then, bird experts have been puzzled about the pink pigeon. Not only this, bird lovers also know the name of pink pigeon. I saw their pictures. But by then it was too late. It turned out that there were only a couple of hundred Pink pigeons left. And they are only on that Mascareni island. Not only humans but also other birds of prey are fascinated by their beauty. This pink dove is almost exhausted in their attack. Moreover, deforestation is taking place on Mascareni Island due to the growing population. The pink pigeon habitat is being destroyed. Maybe one day they too will disappear from the bosom of this world. Because, if their habitat is destroyed then where will they be?

Echo Parakeet

The name is a bit weird, but the bird is very beautiful to look at. Echo parakeet is another name for a type of pheasant. Its scientific name is Psittacula echo. And the local name is Mauritius Parakeet. Although it looks like a pheasant, its tail is not at all like the pheasants have a very long tail. Their tails are much shorter in length. Locally this bird is also called catover. In their behavior, they are very similar to the ancient pheasants. However, like tear birds, they are not easily domesticated. As the queen of beauty, many have tried to pet them. But it was not possible to keep them alive for a long time due to an unknown type of foot wound disease. Known as the beauty of Mauritius, the bird itself is now under threat. Because, people have started cutting down trees for their own needs and destroying all their habitats. Maybe they would really be extinct from the earth. But later steps were taken to save them. As a result, by 1990, their number stood at 50-60. However, with the initiative of the local government, their number has now increased a bit. There are about 200 eco-parakeets in the forests of West Mauritius alone. However, sometimes their reproductive process is disrupted and their numbers decrease rather than increase.
