Mung beans are rich in fiber and help in weight loss. Since mung beans are low in fat, they keep the muscles lean.

Mung beans provide energy to the body as they contain carbohydrates. This ingredient not only keeps blood circulation active but also keeps glucose levels in check.

Disadvantages of Mung Bean

1. Avoid mung beans during pregnancy and period as they can develop bacterial overgrowth.

2. May cause diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal bloating etc.

3. Eating too much mung beans can lower blood sugar levels and cause sweating, hunger, fainting, fatigue, blurred vision and heart palpitations.

4. Eating too much mung bean fiber can stimulate bowel movements and cause diarrhea.

5. It can cause intestinal gas and intestinal bloating.
