Hazrat Yunus (AS) Story

Hazrat Yunus (AS) Story

Hazrat Yunus (AS) was a prominent prophet. One incident in his life is highly noteworthy. Because of a small error, he had to go into the belly of a fish and stay in that fish for forty days.

Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) received prophethood at the age of forty and was commanded to preach the religion among his people.

Once Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) requested the Prophet (PBUH), O Messenger of Allah (PBUH)! What was the number of people of Hazrat Yunus (as)?

He said that the number of adult intelligent men was one lakh. Besides, the number of women and boys was about three lakhs. Almost all the people were infidels disobeying Allah.

Allah Rabbul Alamin had informed Hazrat Yunus (AS) beforehand that, Yunus! If the people of your people do not accept guidance, then I will destroy them in the same way that I destroyed the people of Aad and Thamud earlier.

The main message of Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) was:

O my people! There is no god but Allah. I am His Messenger. Abandon the worship of gods and goddesses and worship the formless Almighty Allah and believe in me as His true prophet and act according to my advice.

But the people of the people did not listen to his words, they replied, O Yunus! Even if you cut us to pieces, we will not leave the religion of our forefathers and the worship of gods and goddesses at your word.

Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) said, What you are saying is a cause of great danger for you. It will be better for you if you believe my words. If you desire goodness and goodness, abandon your wrong ways and engage in the worship of the Formless God. Otherwise, Allah wrath will surely descend on you. And in the hereafter, you will be burning in the fire of Hell for eternity.

Once a man said to Hazrat Yunus (AS), well Yunus! You are only talking about fame, what kind of thing is fame!

Hazrat Yunus replied, It is a myth that Allah Taala will send down some great danger on you. For example, any one or many types of danger may descend from the sky, such as strong earthquakes, storms, typhoons, floods, floods or rain of fire from the sky.

Hearing the words of Hazrat Yunus (A.S.), a person mocked and said, "Do not decide which of them will come!"

Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) said, I cannot say exactly which one will come, only Allah knows. But there is no doubt that any danger will come to him. Because God told me that.

This time everyone laughed loudly at the words of Hazrat Yunus (as).

When their laughter subsided, another one asked again, well. But he said this, when will such a rumor come?

Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) said, "Can not I say exactly when it will come?" Of course there is no reason to doubt it.

If you do not follow the right path, calamity will come and you will be utterly destroyed.

The disobedient infidels laughed again at his words. Someone called Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) a madman and a moron and spat on him. Someone threw stones and stones at his body.

Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) felt a lot of pain in his heart. Because those to whom he was admonishing, they would not listen to his advice, but they mocked and mocked him. In this way, after forty years in which his efforts had ended in utter failure, he came to the court of Allah with two hands.

Tulia prayed, O Lord! You send down wrath upon these disobedient people. The answer came from Allah, Yes Yunus! In due time I will certainly send down the ghazal upon them; But he was not informed of any specific date of revelation.

Meanwhile, when the infidels meet with Prophet Yunus (A.S.), they ask, what is Yunus! From the side of your God will come upon us, but when will it come? We were impatient to wait for him.

Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) was absolutely fed up to hear their mockery. He could not bear it anymore. He does not get any hints from Allah Taala. His shame and sorrow were also there. Finally, one day, without the permission of Allah, he took his son and wife and went out of the house. The intention is that he will no longer live in this country. Will you go to a distant country?

Even though Hazrat Yunus (a.s.) was a prophet of God, this was not right for him. He should have waited for Allah command or traveled abroad with Allah permission.

After he left the country, there was a mixed reaction in the country. That is, some started to criticize him and some started to praise him.

Danger of Hazrat Yunus (AS).

Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) came out of his homeland and after walking for some distance, he went to the bank of a river. Then he took all of them to cross the river, leaving the elder boy sitting on the other side of the river, taking the younger boy on his shoulders and walking with his wife, he started to cross the river. After going far, suddenly his wife started drowning in the river. Hazrat

When Yunus hurried to catch him, the boy fell from his shoulder into the river and was immediately swept away by the strong current of the river. meanwhile

He could not even get hold of his wife. He also floated down the river. Neither of them could be rescued. Then he survived the eldest son

As soon as he approached the river bank to fetch him, he saw that a tiger came running and took the boy in its mouth and quickly went into the forest.

What will he do then? Thus, having lost his wife and son, he crossed the same river with a sad heart and started moving forward.

A long way passed: he came again to the shore of the Greek river, and saw the ship standing at anchor. Many passengers had already boarded the ship. He also climbed it. After a while, the anchor of the ship was lifted and it was released.

After a while the ship went down the river and reached the sea; But as soon as the sea began to move in the bosom, instead of moving forward, it sat in the same place and began to spin. But a more wonderful danger loomed. Huge sea fishes came and started beating and pounding the ship.

The ship captain, sailors and passengers were all surprised and wondered what was the reason for this? On board was a pious Kamel Boerg. He said, surely there is a slave in the ship, who is running away without telling his master; And he has boarded this ship. And it is his sin that the ship is in this condition. If that person is not thrown from the ship, the ship will not be safe.

Then, one by one, it was asked to each passenger of the ship, "Are you not running away from your master?" All denied. But before asking Hazrat Yunus (A.S.), he started to think that I am the runaway slave who came to the master without telling him. I left my country and went abroad without taking the permission of my Most High Allah Taala.

So who can be a big sinner like me? Thinking about this, he went to the ship authorities and said, "I am the one who has left the country without telling my master." Throw me into your ocean. Only then will you all be safe. But when he said this, they saw his face.

He did not believe that he could be anyone slave. No slave behaves and speaks like this; Rather, everyone considered him as a special noble person But when Hazrat Yunus (A.S.) repeatedly revealed himself as a disobedient slave, the people of the ship cast the name of Hazrat Yunus (A.S.). The name came up three times one by one. There was no other option but to throw him into the sea. So he was thrown into the sea. Immediately, the huge fish left the ship quarters and the ship stopped spinning and began to move straight ahead.
